Nestled at the heart of Chinatown, this project visualizes concepts to promote pedestrian accessibility and improve the landscape conditions of Spring Mountain Road.. This project also holds deep foundations of integrating Chinese culture into the landscape. I was given the honor of being the lead role in creating the conceptual graphics that visualized different possible solutions per different areas to promote culture, create spaces for plantings to thrive, and increase the urban canopy.

This project aims to resolve collisions among wheeled users and pedestrians on the main campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Using custom signage, custom decals, and delineation of lanes, UNLV hopes to improve student safety. Forwarding completion, I held responsibility for final redline pickup and revision. I oversaw final graphic production for print and construction readiness, and interacted with the university to maintain conversation and proper coordination.

An existing site within the Southern Paiute reservation, this exciting project involves the creation of spaces for the community, education, and natural landscape. Aside from CAD drafting and revisions, I also created the graphics for the interpretative signage on the site displaying the Paiutes’ creation story. For the natural landscape, I researched native seedings and helped to develop the seed mix to be spread across the terrain.

This challenge is conducted by the National Park Service and is centered on the documentation of landscapes throughout the US that hold historical significance. Research and documentation of this project collaborated under the northern and southern Nevada chapters of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Alongside members of ASLA, I thoroughly researched American landscapes and provided professional photography. In 2024, we received second place for the Cochran Ditch in Reno, NV, and in 2025 took first place for Wingfield Park in also Reno, NV.

A focus on elderly care, the Southern Nevada State (SNS) Veterans Home is an existing building providing care to retired veterans. The landscape design includes space for outdoor physical therapy, courtyards, natural landscaping, tortoise habitats, and a koi pond. An important effort I provided to the project was the obtaining of BABA (Build America Buy America) certification for all products incorporated into the infrastructure, I was also involved in the design aspects including a detailed SketchUp file.

Beginning as a simple turf conversion and landscape enhancement, this project evolved into a water reduction and total irrigation redesign project. An older neighborhood, no existing drawings were at our disposal causing the whole site to be manually measured and digitally recreated. I aided in the extensive efforts to recreate the site and document all existing conditions. I helped develop the conceptual renderings for the community, continued the effort to finalize the construction drawings, and attended board member and community meetings.
